SHADY POINT, OK — January 13, 2026 — Shady Point Public Schools recognized the Shady Point Board of Education for its continued service and long-standing commitment to students, staff, and the community. The district is honored to have a board that has served together for the past six years, providing steady governance and leadership in support of student learning and school improvement.
Board leadership includes President Derek Woodral, who is beginning his fourth term; Vice President Robert Wright, who is serving his third term; and Clerk Brenda Hopkins, who is completing her second term.
